Who can enrol?
If you are 16 years and older and want to get into the Police or Defence Force, this programme will give you the best possible start.
What will I learn?
Learn and practice the skills you need to sit the New Zealand Defence Force Pre Entry test, including time management, team work and discipline.
You will cover:
- Security operations
- Risk and injury prevention and management in sport and recreation
- Role of NZ Police and the community services it provides
- Basic emergency care
- Effective communication skills
- Study and career planning
- Literacy and numeracy
- Physical fitness
What qualifications will I gain?
- Certificate in Police and Defence Force Entry Preparation Level 3
- NZ Certificate in Study and Career Preparation Level 3
